The Guerlain perfumer celebrates through it, in a more sensual, more «skin-close» way, the moment when «night has not yet found its star». A hymn to the sweetness of living and to romanticism. "The sun has set, yet night has not yet fallen. It is the suspended hour... The hour when man finds himself at last in harmony with the world and the light." said Jacques Guerlain. He was evoking his favourite moment when "night has not yet found its star". It was this fleeting sensation that he wished to express in 1912 through the perfume L'Heure Bleue. Designed by George Chevalier, its mythical «inverted heart» bottle is highlighted by graceful scrolls characteristic of Art Nouveau. A true technical feat, its avant-garde stopper in the shape of a hollow heart evokes the delicate romanticism of this monument of perfumery.
