The story of Marc-Antoine Corticchiato, official perfumer of Parfum d'Empire

Marc-Antoine Corticchiato is a perfumer who has worked on the creation of numerous essences for the brand Parfum d'Empire. His expertise and generosity have allowed the house, albeit a niche one, to gain recognition from the wider public. If each of his perfumes enjoys such success, it is simply because he puts a little of his soul and his story into them. Furthermore, Marc-Antoine Corticchiato hails from Corsica. It is therefore only natural that he allows his Mediterranean roots to show through in many of his creations. However, it was not in the heart of the island of beauty that he grew up. Early on, his parents had to leave their island and settled in Morocco. It is to this country that Marc-Antoine Corticchiato wished to pay tribute with the essence Azemour les Orangers. Indeed, this juice is a nod to his parents' orange grove at their Moroccan home. The green richness of this essence is striking from the very first notes. Equally, the whole composition offers a masterful sweet-and-salty blend. The ensemble thus seems to capture, all on its own, the entire richness of this oriental country.

Azemour les Orangers, a concentrate of oriental elegance

Indeed, what more beautiful ingredient than the orange to paint for us the scent of Morocco? Azemour les Orangers has chosen to reveal the facets of this fruit in all its aspects. The orange presents itself in turn sparkling, juicy, fruity, green, crisp, honeyed, sun-drenched and absolutely moving. Yet the orange is not the only citrus fruit at the heart of this composition. One also finds the presence of clementine, mandarin, grapefruit and lemon. All of this is stirred up by numerous spices. Azemour les Orangers also contains cumin, coriander, black pepper and pink berries. Likewise, blackcurrant and galbanum lend a greener facet to this opening. Here, Azemour les Orangers evolves towards a fresher heart of neroli, orange blossom and rose. Finally, everything concludes with a deeper base of moss, cypress and henna. Thus, Azemour les Orangers becomes akin to a fine sand dune swept by sun-kissed sea spray.

The Eau de Parfum Azemour les Orangers by Parfum d'Empire

All the facets of the orange tree...

A fresh and timeless chypre that reveals all the facets of the orange tree: the sparkling zest and the sun-drenched flesh of the fruit, the dark green of the leaves, the honeyed softness of the blossom, the vigour of the wood. But the word «love» nestled within AZEMOUR also expresses the creator's deep attachment to the land of his birth, and this perfume is an evocation of the Moroccan landscape with its dunes, wild herbs and orange groves...

AZEMOUR, TIMELESS ELEGANCE IN THE KINGDOM OF MOROCCO.

It is all his love for the land where his family had put down roots that Marc-Antoine Corticchiato expresses in this paradise perfume. A paradise lost and rediscovered through the alchemy of perfume. A tribute to Azemmour, one of the oldest cities in the kingdom of Morocco, a Muslim and Jewish place of pilgrimage; a tribute to his parents' orange grove, to the rides through those lands that stretch along the oued Oum Er r'Bia all the way to the ocean...

The fragrance bursts forth in the golden light of this Atlantic coast: a sparkling of citrus fruits where the zest and flesh of the orange dominate, set with clementine, mandarin, grapefruit and lemon. Coriander, cumin, black pepper and pink berry make this opening even more vibrant; blackcurrant and galbanum settle it within the dark green casket of leaves.

Then AZEMOUR lets its heart speak in the delicate freshness of neroli, intensified by geranium, enriched with a suave and honeyed orange blossom absolute and an old rose with its delicate and spicy exhalations. Extracts of hay, moss and henna to evoke the dry herbs that breathe out the warmth of the day in the orange grove. A woody base to draw the cypresses swaying in the Atlantic wind. A hint of iodine to lose oneself in the dunes swept by sea spray...

AZEMOUR, A LANDSCAPE PERFUME, AS GENEROUS AND SUN-DRENCHED AS THE LAND THAT INSPIRES IT.
