Marc-Antoine Corticchiato is a perfumer deeply involved with the brand Parfum d'Empire. He is also a native of the small village of Cuttoli Corticchiato, a hamlet located in the heart of the island of beauty. It is therefore to his homeland that he has chosen to pay tribute this time. As Laurent Marcangeli, deputy-mayor of Ajaccio, explains, Corsica Furiosa is "a celebration of Corsica and the Corsican people, a standard-bearer that must absolutely be honoured. Corsica must see its future through those who succeed, and you are one of them," he said, addressing this talented perfumer. Indeed, Marc-Antoine Corticchiato said he was deeply moved by this declaration. It is also worth noting that Corsica Furiosa very quickly became for him a perfume synonymous with international recognition. Indeed, it earned its creator a prestigious award. Corsica Furiosa won the expert prize for the best fragrance from a niche brand at the 23rd edition of the prestigious FFI Awards of perfumery. In short, this is a highly prestigious juice, worthy of unparalleled craftsmanship and extraordinary expertise.

The strong character of Corsica Furiosa

Much like the inhabitants who populate this island, Corsica Furiosa is by no means lacking in temperament. It is an essence that perfectly embodies a true fury of living – at once explosive and warm-hearted. Here, the mastic shrub takes centre stage. It is a small shrub with a green and intense scent, typical of Corsica. Moreover, it seems equally imbued with the typically Mediterranean sunshine as with the fresh mountain air or sea spray. Corsica Furiosa electrifies itself from its top notes with the presence of wild mint combined with the crisp green of the tomato leaf. The mastic shrub, for its part, makes its appearance in the heart. Corsica Furiosa thus reveals its peppery, fruity, aromatic and earthy facets. Nevertheless, some of its characteristics prove more gentle, and one detects the presence of hay, blond tobacco, honey and straw. Likewise, a hint of liquorice helps to make the whole more indulgent. Finally, the composition closes with a more powerful, resinous and leathery trail, all resting on an enveloping bed of moss.

A new, sovereign and contemporary presentation. The smooth satin of the labels, the velvety matte finish of the box-case, the brilliance of the hot-stamped gilding, the relief of the embossing… the sensual interplay of materials mirrors that of the fragrances. A more modern typeface and a redesigned laurel crown in the shape of a horseshoe. Embossed on the box, it is engraved on the metal cap. The "Glory green" gives way to the sobriety of white for the box-case, and a palette of pastel shades for the labels, unique to each perfume.
