Eau Suave as a response to Eau de Gloire

Eau Suave is a fragrance created by the highly acclaimed perfumer Marc-Antoine Corticchiato, the nose behind a great many of Parfum d'Empire's scents. Some years earlier, he had conceived a fragrance called Eau de Gloire. This one paid tribute to Corsica and drew inspiration from a quote by Napoleon Bonaparte: "With eyes closed, on the darkest night, if by a miracle I found myself transported to Corsica, I would recognise it immediately by its scent." Eau de Gloire was therefore a fragrance of historical inspiration emanating from Emperor Napoleon. He also held a true love for Empress Joséphine, who was herself passionate about roses. It is in this spirit that Eau Suave was created. It speaks of elegance, refinement and feeling. The rose is treated here in a classical and opulent manner, gradually revealing itself over the hours and showing itself in its finest light. Moreover, the idea of creating this fragrance emerged when Marc-Antoine Corticchiato visited the château de la Malmaison. It was there that Empress Joséphine developed a greenhouse entirely dedicated to this sensual plant. She grew three varieties: the Rose Joséphine, the Rose Pourpre and the Rose de Vénus.

The incisive charm of the rose by Parfum d'Empire

Nevertheless, while Parfum d'Empire has worked on the floral aspect of this elegant plant, it also explores its sharp thorns. The rose is very incisive here, revealing unprecedented facets of its personality. First and foremost, it is particularly fruity. Indeed, Eau Suave contains ingredients such as peach, raspberry and apricot. These, however, give way to greater vitality, and the whole is further enriched with spices. Thus, Eau Suave does not hesitate to juxtapose coriander, saffron and pepper at the heart of its composition. The whole is nonetheless softened by a tea rose that in turn reveals more lightness. Finally, the composition rests on a more chypré base. Eau Suave closes with a skilful blend of oakmoss, patchouli, bourbon vanilla and musk. The result resembles a carnal and sensual caress.

The Eau de Parfum Eau Suave by Parfum d'Empire

Eau Suave by Parfum d'Empire evokes a collection of roses. Roses inspired by the selection from the greenhouses of the château de la Malmaison.

Naturally incisive roses: spiced roses or tea roses.

That is why, in Eau Suave, the fruity notes of peach-raspberry-apricot, like the spiced facets of pepper-coriander-saffron, all emanate from this collection of roses.

The voluptuousness of oakmoss envelops this eau with a sensual elegance. At the base of Eau Suave, it is the sensual bourbon vanilla that mingles with carnal white musk.

A rosy and fruity chypré to tell the story of a rose collection.

This modern chypre reveals the little-known facets of the rose, the emblematic flower of perfumery. Rich and opulent, Eau Suave develops the surprising notes of spiced roses, fruity roses and tea roses, rounded off by musk and patchouli.

Eau Suave, a rose cocktail with a piquant charm...

It was during a visit to the château de la Malmaison that Marc-Antoine Corticchiato found the inspiration for his Eau Suave. For it was there that Empress Joséphine, passionate about botany, made the rose a French flower by developing an extraordinary collection in her greenhouses, including three varieties created expressly for her: the Rose Joséphine, the Rose pourpre and the Rose Vénus. It is to this now-vanished collection that the creator wished to pay tribute. But also to the most emblematic flower of perfumery, a symbol of femininity, equally prized by men in the Middle East...

Particularly incisive varieties were selected for this fragrance that is both modern and timeless, unveiling unprecedented aspects of the rose. The fruity roses that give Eau Suave its surprising accents of peach, raspberry and apricot. The sensual notes of spiced roses develop in the fragrance their facets of coriander, saffron and pepper. Finally, tea rose notes contribute their lightness.

These velvety petals are supported by a chypré structure: oakmoss and patchouli for woody depth, Bourbon vanilla for its island-inspired aromas and carnal white musk for the caress...
