Yuzu Fou is a perfume conceived in the spirit of Japan. Indeed, the yuzu, the citrus fruit at the heart of this composition, is a small citron found in that country. Thus, Parfum d'Empire sought to imagine this fragrance in the image of that distant land, exploring its many facets. In other words, Yuzu Fou captures both the very vegetal side of Japan and its particularly avant-garde universe. It immerses us in a world that is at once hyper-urban and high-tech while also encompassing numerous natural spaces. With it, glass and steel seem to coexist with hanging gardens. Yuzu Fou is a perfume in the image of the citrus fruit at the centre of its composition: fresh and sparkling. Furthermore, it also echoes Japanese rituals. Indeed, the population is invited to immerse themselves in an aromatic water bath at the time of the winter solstice. The Japanese say that this promotes optimism and well-being. This perfume offers a crackling aroma paired with a hint of bitterness. This sensation is further reinforced by the kumquat, also known as the «Japanese lemon tree», as well as by bitter orange, a fruit considered a symbol of purity and wisdom. Likewise, mint brings its intense freshness. Then, Yuzu Fou evolves towards a heart based on verbena, a raw material with an almost metallic scent. This is combined with green bamboo, the true illuminating ingredient of this nectar. The whole is appreciated for its stress-reducing virtues. Finally, Yuzu Fou concludes with a deeper trail.
