THE CREATION A reference to the eponymous novel by Guy de Maupassant, the Eau de Toilette Bel Ami celebrates the authenticity of leather. Created in 1986 by perfumer Jean-Louis Sieuzac, the composition interprets the material with as much opulence as character. THE OLFACTORY NOTES A leathery and woody fragrance, the Eau de Toilette Bel Ami affirms the daring encounter between an enchanting patchouli, a deep leather and a sensual cistus labdanum. THE OBJECT Inspired by the lanterns of carriages of bygone days, the bottle is crowned by a black cap echoing the riding helmet of equestrians. As a sign of belonging to the Parfums-Fondateurs collection, the label on the back is illustrated with a drawing by Philippe Dumas.
