THE CREATION Terre d'Hermès tells the story of man's relationship with the earth, his humble and harmonious dialogue with nature and the elements. In 2009, Jean-Claude Ellena gave Terre d'Hermès a new depth by creating Terre d'Hermès Parfum. THE OLFACTORY NOTES A woody and warm fragrance, Terre d'Hermès Parfum combines an enveloping cedar and a sparkling grapefruit with a vibrant shiso note. THE OBJECT On the lower side, the bottle rests on a more prominent orange H, echoing the deepening hue of the perfume, which marks its imprint in the earth. On the upper side, light reflects off its metallic shoulders. THE HERMÈS DETAIL Once in hand, the Terre d'Hermès Parfum bottle reveals numerous details: the iconic saddle nail of the maison, the cap that slides open to release the spray, etc. Created by designer Philippe Mouquet, it is inspired by a travel case bottle kept at the Emile Hermès museum.
