THE CREATION

The Eau de Toilette Un Jardin sur le Toit tells the story of a hidden garden, nestled in the heart of the city, in Paris. A patch of nature sheltered by the rooftop of the house of Hermès, at 24, rue du Faubourg-Saint-Honoré. Created by perfumer Jean-Claude Ellena in 2011, this fragrance pays tribute to this garden of pleasure and celebration.

THE OLFACTORY NOTES

Fruity and green, the Eau de Toilette Un Jardin sur le Toit releases a crisp apple tree into the Paris air, alongside notes of a juicy pear tree.

THE OBJECT

Designed by Fred Rawyler, the bottle is inspired by the lines of the lanterns of vintage cars. The glass of the bottle comes alive in a biting, vivid and luminous green. A member of the Hermès family, Philippe Dumas signs the illustration of this garden depicted on the case with a breathtaking view of the city.
