THE CREATION

In 2011, Jean-Claude Ellena signed Voyage d'Hermès Parfum, an intense and generous reinterpretation of the original fragrance. "I moved away from the principle of 'concentration' in the formula to focus on the intensity of perceptions and the amplitude of the sillage."

THE OLFACTORY NOTES

Woody and ambery, Voyage d'Hermès Parfum reveals an invigorating juniper berry married to the milky and gentle character of sandalwood.

THE OBJECT

Designer Philippe Mouquet created a singular object, inspired by a pocket magnifying glass found by chance along the way. The black glass bottle is dressed in a silver-coloured stirrup, adorned with the emblematic saddle nail.

THE BOTTLE AND ITS REFILL

The bottle is refilled using the Voyage d'Hermès 200 ml perfume refill.

Since the founding by Thierry Hermès of a harness and saddle workshop in Paris in 1837, Hermès has been the craftsman of movement and the companion of travel. This theme inspires creation and animates the culture of the house.
