Indeed, Marc-Antoine Corticchiato, the house's official nose, is an adventurer at heart who has never stopped exploring the globe. He was steeped in the Mediterranean tradition from his earliest childhood. His father was Corsican, and it was on that island that he spent most of his youthful holidays. Nevertheless, he grew up in the heart of Morocco, a country laden with scents. He admits that it is undoubtedly from there that his pronounced taste for perfumery originates. Yet this time it is not those parts of the world that are in question. Fougère Bengale takes us directly to the heart of the Ancient Mongol Empire. It also recounts the famous tiger hunts for the Bengal tiger conducted in the heart of the Assam jungle. There one finds the animality of this feline combined with the humidity of the jungle and the smell of hay that pervaded it. Thus, Fougère Bengale is not content with being a journey through space. It is also a voyage through time, a plunge into the heart of ancestral traditions.

The animality of Fougère Bengale

Fougère Bengale opens, however, with a rather fresh scent. It is a fragrance inspired by the typical smell of the dandies of the late nineteenth century. They most often smelled of fern, an olfactory family based on the scent of lavender, tonka bean and oakmoss. Thus, Fougère Bengale has chosen to reinterpret this emblematic scent.
