Eau d'Hermès

THE CREATION Eau d'Hermès is the first fragrance from the house of Hermès. Conceived in 1951 by perfumer Edmond Roudnitska, it evokes «the interior of a Hermès bag where the aroma of a perfume lingers». THE OLFACTORY NOTES A hesperidic and spicy fragrance, Eau d'Hermès is an eau de toilette in which the brightness of citrus petit grain and the vibrant energy of cardamom intertwine with the warmth of cinnamon. THE OBJECT Inspired by the lanterns of carriages of bygone days, the bottle is topped with a black cap echoing the riding helmet of equestrians. As a sign of belonging to the Parfums-Fondateurs collection, the label on the back is illustrated with a drawing by Philippe Dumas.
