Eau du Soir by Sisley Founded in 1972 by the d'Ornano family, Sisley is a French brand and pioneer in phytocosmetics. Positioned in the luxury cosmetics sector, Sisley quickly diversified into fragrance from 1974 onwards with the unisex perfume Eau de Campagne. The second creation, the women's fragrance Eau du Soir, was launched in 1990 and met with immediate success. L'Eau du Soir tells the story of an evening stroll through the gardens of the Alcazar of Seville in Spain. Amid the paths lined with orange and mandarin trees, the perfume recreates this scent with hesperidic notes reminiscent of the light freshness of an eau de Cologne. Both richly floral and refined, l'Eau du Soir describes with elegant precision the scents of flower beds in the bloom of spring, completed by a sensual base. L'Eau du Soir evokes an elegant and timeless woman who expresses her femininity with charm. The bottle of l'Eau du Soir by Sisley features a sleek, pure design. In 1998, it was given a cap bearing a woman's face sculpted by Polish artist Bronislaw Krzysztof, which has remained unchanged ever since, with a prestige limited-edition bottle released each year. The olfactory composition of l'Eau du Soir was created by Jeannine Mongin and the founders of the Sisley brand: M. et Mme d'Ornano. Eau du Soir is a chypré floral fragrance for women. Its scent opens with hesperidic notes of mandarin and grapefruit, along with a spicy hint of clove. The heart reveals a refined and elegant floral bouquet of jasmine, rose, mock orange and ylang-ylang. The base of the fragrance unveils a sensual and warm trail composed of cistus, patchouli, white musks and amber.
