Stepping through the door of the maison Repetto means entering a timeless universe, suspended in the steps of the world's greatest ballet stars. This renowned brand specialises in the creation of classical dance accessories. Over the decades, however, Repetto has reinvented itself to reveal other facets of femininity. It was thus that Repetto developed its reputation as a perfumer, in 2013. Today, in collaboration with Interparfums, Repetto opens a new chapter of its story, with the clear intention of broadening its circle of customers. A closer look at the new Dance With Repetto.

Repetto and dance, a long history

It all began in 1947, when Rose Repetto made her first dance shoes in Paris for her son. The quality of her ballerinas was quickly noticed and so the development of Repetto began. Since then, the brand has come a long way. Today it is one of the most reputed international references in the field of classical dance. Repetto accompanies the world's greatest ballet stars. It carries within it an undeniable grace, and it was therefore entirely natural that it drew inspiration from its own history to create this first fragrance. Each of Repetto's fragrances draws its inspiration from the universe of classical dance. They are thus a tribute to movement, enveloping themselves in a vibrant and airy aura.

The new communication of Dance With Repetto

As always, through Dance With Repetto, Repetto has chosen to tell us the story of a dancer. The first Repetto perfumes were embodied by the talented Dorothée Gilbert. Today, this tutu-clad star is succeeded by Marion Barbeau. A true face of the moment, Marion Barbeau notably played the role of Marie in the new version of Casse-Noisette at the Opéra National de Paris. Her name alone is enough to draw us into a very poetic universe. To mark the launch of Dance With Repetto, she will be featured in an advertisement whose choreography was devised by choreographer Sébastien Bertaud.

Dance With Repetto, a gourmand fragrance in an elegant moving cylinder

As its advertising suggests, Dance With Repetto is an ode to classical dance and movement. And this is precisely what can be found in its bottle. Very different from its predecessors, it takes the form of a kind of moving cylinder. Undulations form along its very walls. To enhance its femininity, its transparency reveals a peach hue reminiscent of feminine skin.

A belt also underlines its waist while displaying the Repetto name. Very elegant, Dance With Repetto is aimed at a more mature female audience. Repetto usually creates more playful juices for a fairly young clientele. Today, it asserts its seductive side and reveals a more defined sensuality. Its formula was created by perfumers Nathalie Lorson, Annick Ménardo and Olivier Cresp of Firmenich.

Dance With Repetto is a gourmand, floral and sensual fragrance. It opens with a fruity and indulgent scent of macaron and raspberry. Its heart, meanwhile, expresses its femininity in a duo of jasmine and heliotrope. Finally, Dance With Repetto closes with vanilla and tonka bean.
