A love potion with many facets. For this creation Loverdose Eau de Parfum for women, Diesel wanted to highlight a passionate love, symbolised by a faceted heart, much like a love that can take on different faces. Enclosed in a mauve-tinted glass bottle, Loverdose reveals in transparency a black dagger piercing through it. The fragrance evokes a magic potion, a love philtre that takes on a different and unconventional aspect. Loverdose is the fragrance of a woman who dares and who loves without compromise. Perfumers Olivier Cresp and Honorine Blanc, the creators of this fragrance, envisioned for Loverdose an oriental scent on a woody base. The top note presents sweet and tangy touches of lemon and mandarin. In the heart note, the combination of jasmine and gardenia adds femininity to a first hesperidic impression. The bouquet is completed by a mentholated aroma of liquorice and star anise that brings freshness to the whole. The sillage of the fragrance unveils a warm and gourmand base of ambroxan wood, vanilla, cedarwood and sandalwood, which gives Loverdose a sensual, almost animalistic character; an overdose of love to be enjoyed without moderation.
