Nilang, a Vegetal Jewel

In creating this fragrance, perfumer Gérard Anthony has delivered a complex juice with a dual character. It combines marine freshness with the typical warmth of oriental perfumes. Nilang thus seems to be born from the direct encounter of water and sun. The lotus flower makes its appearance from the very first top notes. Moreover, it is further refreshed by a hint of mandarin and paired with the voluptuous indulgence of peach and melon. The heart of Nilang, for its part, proves more luminous and elegant. It combines water jasmine and freesia. Wild bilberries contribute a fruity touch to the composition. Finally, a contrast emerges from its base. The sillage of Nilang is particularly gourmand, combining amber, vanilla and praline. Yet it remains dark and smooth, bringing together sandalwood, patchouli and muskier notes. Nilang thus offers us an audacious blend of freshness and sensuality. The overall result of this perfume becomes absolutely unique and all the more captivating.

The Eau de Parfum Nilang by Lalique

From lotus to Nilang, one discovers the original creation of perfumer Gérard Anthony. He dreamed up this fragrance and composed this Aqua-Oriental into which the Orient dives. In a new floating aquatic world, a signed perfume takes shape — an unforgettable fragrance.

In the top, an imaginary evocation of lotus flower blooms with fresh and lightly gourmand notes of peach, mandarin and melon, a «water» fruit. Luminous, the heart pays tribute to the splendour of flowers: freesia, water jasmine, jonquil, spiced clove enhanced by a fruity touch of wild bilberries. Sensual, the base blends amber, vanilla, praline, sandalwood, patchouli and musky notes. Between two different worlds, through a subtle interplay of opposites, an addictive fragrance is composed. The marriage of freshness and voluptuousness is celebrated in Nilang.

The codes of elegance and refinement respond to this new interpretation of the glass bottle containing the Eau de Parfum. Vertical and geometric, the bottle is striated with parallel undulations, like golden threads clothing the transparency of the glass. Brilliantly white, the case is crossed by these same golden, embossed lines. Geometric, the typography inscribes the name of Nilang on a golden band. At its summit, the case discreetly pays homage to the flower that inspired this line with the sketch of a lotus flower about to bloom.
