Living, symbol of Lalique's timeless luxury
The elegance of Lalique fragrances
Since the end of the 19th century, the house of Lalique has been radiating the image of France throughout the world. Its name is synonymous with refinement, elegance and excellence. This is precisely what the fragrance Living is all about. It seems to embody on its own all the values of the Lalique brand. It reveals a particular emotion open to a luxurious and timeless world. Living symbolises the French art of living. It is at once bold, urban, traditional and contemporary. It seems as airy as a swallow, the emblematic bird of the Lalique brand. Moreover, its scent aspires to be absolutely universal. Living corresponds wonderfully to the sophisticated modernity of New York. Nevertheless, it truly contains the elegance and refinement that are typically Parisian. Likewise, London's creativity is also to be found within it. Living thus seems to have drawn its inspiration from the heart of the world's greatest capitals for an absolutely sublime result. It thereby becomes a symbol of freedom accompanying the woman to each of her destinations and in every precious moment that life offers her.
The refined scent of Living
As the Living bottle suggests, it contains a particularly elegant scent. Moreover, the Living case takes the quarter shape of the famous model « Carnette Fleur » created by René Lalique in 1911. It is conceived in a round shape adorned with sensual ridges forming a kind of flower. The whole rests on a generous base and is adorned with a golden rod engraved with its name at the neck. Likewise, the cap of Living is embellished with the famous Lalique swallow. The whole is absolutely sublime and thus encloses a floral, fresh and oriental fragrance. This takes off on dazzling bergamot tones accompanied by the sparkling quality of black pepper. The whole is however nuanced by the aromatic softness of nutmeg. Then, Living evolves towards a more opulent and refined heart based on iris, a particularly noble ingredient. Its powdery aspect is then combined with the warmth of vanilla and the creaminess of the tonka bean. Likewise, a hint of almond aromas makes an appearance here. The whole concludes with a trail that is most woody and sensual, combining a woody iris, a smoky vetiver, a creamy sandalwood and a warm cashmeran.
Living by Lalique
Living Lalique, the true DNA of the Lalique brand. It highlights the infinite richness of the brand. A fragrance of boldness, reflecting the urban, contemporary and active lifestyle of the Lalique woman. A fragrance of soaring flight, in the image of the elegant swallow.
Living Lalique delivers a sparkling and powdery trail softened by wood, accompanying the Lalique woman from metropolis to metropolis, from emotion to emotion.
Living Lalique takes flight on crystalline bergamot notes, made even more sparkling by the zest of black pepper and the gentle aromatic freshness of nutmeg. For this new creation, iris, the most noble ingredient in the perfumer's palette, elegantly composes the heart of the fragrance. It reveals itself as opulent and majestic. A truly precious ingredient, its treatment requires six years of patience to obtain a perfect, silky and powdery scent. The iris is softened by an accord of vanilla balm and Tonka bean. The scent of Iris is exalted by the smokiness of vetiver, the creaminess of sandalwood and the warmth and voluptuousness of bois de Cachemire.

Story - Living Lalique
A moment of emotion, a flight of swallows. A window open onto a luxurious and timeless world. The quintessence of Lalique's art of living is expressed in a new fragrance: Living Lalique.
Bottle - Living Lalique
A crystal bottle, crowned with an elegant stopper featuring four swallows, the emblem of the maison Lalique. A dream fragrance sculpted from luminous materials such as crystal.
The bottle of the Eau de Parfum is crafted by the Lalique crystal works using a specific process. Their manufacture requires four master glassmakers employing the technique of fixed hand-blowing. The crystal is gathered at 1150°C. It is shaped in a wooden mallet, then placed in a cast-iron mould heated to 400°C and annealed for seven hours. For the creation of the stopper, the so-called « pressed » technique mobilises five master glassmakers. The cutting and polishing operations are carried out cold. The motifs are polished-frosted, then each bottle is signed and numbered, before being sealed with a delicate gold thread.
The « Hirondelles » motif in transparent crystal is placed against a frosted crystal background. The ridges separating each « window » are also transparent. A stylised iris motif evokes the main ingredient of the fragrance and appears on the stopper.
The crystal bottle is housed in a luxurious white case with a diamond silhouette, inspired by the jewellery boxes of René Lalique. Encircled by a gilded metal band engraved with the name of the fragrance, the case is crowned with a medallion bearing the Lalique emblem.
Advertising - Living Lalique
To celebrate the birth of this new fragrance, an advertising campaign features three visuals illustrating moments from the life of a metropolitan woman travelling from city to city. The timeless elegance of Paris. The sophisticated modernity of New York. The effervescent creativity of London. The trail of Living Lalique embraces her dreams and emotions. The common thread of this odyssey, an Art Déco-style window, inspired by the aesthetic of René Lalique, opens onto each of these mythical cities. A flight of swallows, the emblem of the maison and a symbol of freedom, accompanies the Lalique woman in each of these life moments.
