The base notes, the true backbone of Montblanc Explorer Ultra Blue, are composed of an original patchouli of the finest quality, exclusively crafted for Montblanc and combined with refined woods that bring it a rich, earthy structure with leathery facets.

A signature of excellence in design and quality, the thick glass base of the bottle reveals the iconic six-branch Montblanc star, evoking as many snow-capped peaks.

Assembled by hand, the leather-look protective sleeve is enhanced by the elegant saffiano Ultra Blue textured effect and adorned with the Montblanc emblem crafted at the Maison's manufacture in Hamburg.

The woody and briny breath of Explorer Ultra Blue

Explorer Ultra Blue by Montblanc was created by three talented perfumers: Jordi Fernandez, Olivier Pescheux and Antoine Maisondieu. Together, they envisioned an invigorating olfactory palette, opening with the freshness of Italian bergamot paired with spices. Pink berries guide us towards a more aquatic and airy heart, woven with ozonic and fresh notes, themselves blended with ambergris. In its base, Explorer Ultra Blue becomes warmer, with the presence of leathery woods and patchouli.
It is worth noting that this adventurer's fragrance is crafted from ingredients sourced through Givaudan's «Sourcing for Shared Value» programme, which supports local producers by adopting sustainable and ethical practices.

All the savoir-faire of the Maison Montblanc in one bottle

Aesthetically, Explorer Ultra Blue comes in a highly refined bottle. Echoing the two hemispheres of the Earth, it rests on a transparent base of thick glass, while its body is wrapped in a thick, opaque leather. A blue protective band encircles this fragrance. On it gleams the Montblanc emblem, a six-pointed star referencing the six peaks of the Mont-Blanc massif. The assembly of the emblem and the leather sleeve is carried out by hand at the prestigious Pelleteria Montblanc in Florence, the brand's atelier from which Montblanc's finest leather creations emerge. Finally, as a fragrance for adventurers, Explorer Ultra Blue is also available in a travel size of 30 ml, ready to slip into any luggage.
