In the 1950s, the Guerlain family decided to create a fragrance centred around the remarkable roots of vetiver. After several attempts, the Guerlain perfumer arrived at a subtle balance evoking the scents rising from the earth in the pale glimmers of dawn. This evocation of the world's first morning is enriched with a woody accord and the refined elegance of spices and tobacco, giving birth to a rare and sophisticated perfume. A square, faceted, refined bottle drawing its luxurious lines from a model rooted in the Guerlain heritage. A matte, heavy cap that borrows its guilloché from the world of watchmaking.
