Rem is first and foremost a fragrance synonymous with memories. Everything about it is an invitation to exoticism and travel. Its name is an anagram of the word SEA. Its turquoise colour is reminiscent of a wave. It must be said that Nino Amaddeo and his wife Zoé Coste, the founders of the Réminiscence brand, have always drawn endless inspiration from the sea. The very first version of the Rem fragrance came directly from the beaches of Saint-Barthélemy. As the story goes, the two creators had gone on holiday to the island and had completely forgotten to bring sunscreen with them. They immediately rushed to a local bazar to buy a sun lotion. There, it was a true olfactory love at first sight. This sun lotion embodied, in their view, the absolute scent of holidays. Barely back from their trip, they decided to turn it into a fragrance: Rem. As you will have gathered, Rem Escale à St Barth is nothing other than a return to the roots, a dive into their memories. This highly contrasted fragrance mirrors the image of this volcanic, mountainous island plunging into the ocean. The result is a foretaste of holidays come to brighten everyday life.

Rem Escale à St Barth is a fragrance conceived in the very image of the island of Saint-Barthélemy itself. It brings together numerous contrasts. Its modernity lies in a warm-cool blend that is absolutely captivating and invigorating. Rem Escale à St Barth is akin to warm sand drifting into cooler ocean waters. Its dynamism is apparent from the very first notes. Indeed, Rem Escale à St Barth features sparkling and zesty top notes composed of Italian bergamot and mandarins. These citrus notes are quickly joined by an iodine accord reminiscent of the fresh breeze blowing off the ocean. Luminous, sun-drenched flowers then enrich the heart. Rem Escale à St Barth brings together ylang-ylang and orange blossom. These two plants evoke the scent of monoï, the ultimate sun product. The whole gradually wraps itself in a vanilla, amber and musky warmth. Finally, sandalwood completes the composition, evoking driftwood washing ashore.
