Patchouli N'Roses, Réminiscence's new burst of exoticism

Réminiscence is a Mediterranean brand known for its many pieces of jewellery and its fragrances, always synonymous with travel and escapism. Among the brand's best-sellers is the iconic Patchouli, born in 1970 and embodying on its own the entire hippie spirit of that era. In 2000, a men's version was introduced. In 2007, it became Patchouli L'Eau. Then, in 2015, we had the pleasure of seeing Patchouli Blanc appear. It seems that the brand Réminiscence never tires of revisiting this essential classic. That is why, in 2016, it offers us a new variant of its scent, this time named Patchouli N'Roses.

The soothing image of Réminiscence's fragrance

Patchouli is certainly the name of a perfume, but it is above all the name of a raw material. Some love it while others hate it… Perhaps because it was overused in the 1970s! Indeed, this raw material is the symbol of an entire generation. It alone evokes the hippie movement, and one would almost need only to close one's eyes to feel plunged into the heart of the Woodstock festival. For many consumers, patchouli is therefore evocative of numerous memories. While some criticise its rather pronounced scent, patchouli can at least boast of leaving no one indifferent. Furthermore, it has never truly gone out of fashion. It allows for escapism in the blink of an eye and encompasses a multitude of olfactory facets. Moreover, it does not react the same way from one person to another, which only makes it more intriguing. It seems that Réminiscence takes great pleasure in reclaiming this cult flavour, at once indulgent, ambery, tenacious and always deeply sensual.

The new Patchouli N'Roses

To reinterpret this olfactory legend, Réminiscence called upon the talented perfumer Fabrice Pellegrin. He is particularly known for being an aficionado of oriental tones. He does not hesitate to dare unprecedented experiments while preserving the image of a refined perfumery. This lover of woody scents has nonetheless, for this occasion, integrated the most beautiful of flowers into his composition: the Damask rose. For this new variation, patchouli reveals itself in its most floral facet. Patchouli N'Roses is a chypre juice featuring a high concentration of roses combined with patchouli and sublimated by the sensuality of musk. The whole is contained in a bottle with the shape typical of the entire Réminiscence collection. Patchouli N'Roses comes in a rectangular container with a slightly curved front face. The whole is conceived in a white hue adorned, in its upper left corner, with pink and burgundy tones reminiscent of a rose. Patchouli N'Roses is particularly elegant and its bottle speaks volumes about the intense femininity it contains.
