Created at the height of the «Summer of Love» by perfumer Robert Gonnon, Ô de Lancôme breaks the rules by marrying Sicilian lemon, bergamot and mandarin with an aromatic duo of basil and rosemary, resting on a subtly woody oak moss. Halfway between a unisex cologne and a luminous chypre, this signature gives rise to the nickname «Green Shield»: a freshness shield to spray like a citrus dew in the early morning.

Its spectacular success paves the way for the entire Les Ô line and inspires, more than half a century later, three wellness interpretations: the vegetal energy of Ô VER THE TOP, the zen bubble of Ô FF Now and the solar light of Ô Zénith.
