What does red evoke for you?
Red is synonymous with passion, sensuality and intensity. It is the colour of love but also of the forbidden. It attracts and fascinates irresistibly. As tempting as a narcotic fruit.
Why did you choose a pink apple rather than another? A redder one, for example?
The pink apple has an irresistible colour and flavour. Crunchier and fresher than the red apple, its fruity and deliciously sweet aroma is captured through an exclusive Firmenich technology. These notes are developed in collaboration with flavourists and bring taste, texture, emotion and a great deal of sensoriality. From the very first spray of Modern Princess, you perceive this juicy, firm and crunchy pink apple, like a new forbidden fruit...
Could you elaborate on the «pulpy» character of the fragrance?
The pink Pink Lady apple naturally brings a pulpy and colourful aspect, like the flesh of a crunchy apple that pairs particularly well with red redcurrant to give a sparkling and juicy top accord. This fruity duo brings a tangy freshness, a bold femininity and a sense of fun.
How do you explain the double game of jasmine, its evolution on the skin and this duality between fragility and a troubling character?
I used a particular jasmine extract, the Pétalé Jasmin Firnat, which has the particularity and advantage of getting as close as possible to the natural scent emanating from a jasmine flower still on its stem. On the skin, it gives the perfume a very petal-like and airy quality, while developing behind it a sensual and carnal depth, explained in part by the presence of indole. This molecule, naturally present in jasmine, gives it its wild, «animal» and voluptuous quality that undeniably captivates.
