Furthermore, this plant commands an exorbitant cost given its particularly low yield. It is worth knowing that no less than one tonne of iris is required to obtain approximately 2 kg of its essential oil. Nevertheless, the effort is well worth it. Iris has a complex, delicate and powdery scent that is absolutely irresistible. Here it is combined with the almond-like flavour of the tonka bean. Finally, Valentino Uomo Intense concludes with an animal sensuality based on black leather enhanced by the warm exoticism of vanilla. The heart of the fragrance is a concentrate of elegance composed of Iris absolute and tonka bean, sublimated by the base of the fragrance with notes of black leather and vanilla.
