The first masculine ambré in history and an iconic creation by Guerlain, Habit Rouge today celebrates 60 years of timeless seduction. To mark the occasion, the Maison unveils a new variation in a limited edition: Habit Rouge Spirit.

An unprecedented expression of the ambré signature of Habit Rouge, this new variation drapes its sillage in singular woody nuances with smooth, velvety inflections. A masterful spiced leather heart, blending the elegance of powdery iris notes with the warm notes of nutmeg. The secret of its inimitable seduction, its ambré base is built around two luxurious vanilla essences: the absolute and the tincture, crafted according to an ancestral Guerlain savoir-faire. Faceted by deep, woody notes of oak barrel, this sensual sillage unfolds a distinguished signature of remarkable richness.

Delphine Jelk, Director of Perfume Creation at Guerlain & Perfumer, celebrates the pioneering spirit of the Maison by inaugurating a process unprecedented at Guerlain: the assemblage of a perfume sublimated in oak barrels and infused with their characteristic woody notes. Driven by audacity, Habit Rouge Spirit expresses the vision of a luxury that has become rare: time. Through prolonged contact with the wood, this new variation develops its characteristic notes. This is followed by meticulous assemblage work to find the ideal balance between the fragrances from the two barrels, giving rise to a singular composition that offers a new signature to the iconic Habit Rouge.
