Lalique Encre Noire The history of Lalique Lalique is a French luxury brand created by René Lalique. In 1888, this master glassmaker and jewellery designer established himself among the Art Nouveau creators. With motifs characteristic of this movement, he interpreted and used materials in an innovative way. Originally specialising in glasswork, the maison is renowned for its savoir-faire. Its most celebrated pieces include vases, jewellery and perfume bottles. It was almost inevitable that in 1931, the maison Lalique would present its first fragrance (Louxor). The Fragrance The men's fragrance Lalique Encre Noire is a woody fragrance. Its olfactory composition was created by Nathalie Lorson. The fragrance opens with notes of Italian cypress and Vetiver. At first, the impression conveyed is invigoratingly fresh. Then, in a second stage, an association of exotic vetivers emerges. The bourbon vetiver combines with the Haiti vetiver to create a sensual, enveloping and elegant duo. Finally, the base of the men's fragrance reveals a trail of cashmere wood.
