A new freshness in an aquatic woody fragrance for men

Composed of 95% ingredients of natural origin and French alcohol, Le Sel d'Issey is a fresh, woody aquatic fragrance. A vegan fragrance in which the power of salt is revealed by intense, masculine woody notes.

With this new eau de toilette, perfumer Quentin Bisch succeeds in giving a scent to odourless salt.

On a journey from the sea to the land, this vibrant fragrance reveals itself through two olfactory poles.

The salty pole embodies the sea through a vivid salt accord. Of natural origin, sea algae blend with oakmoss, an algae that has migrated to land, thus creating a link with the second olfactory pole of the fragrance.

Enhancing the freshness of the salt accord, notes of sparkling ginger accompany the woody pole. The woody notes reveal their intensity to give body and texture to the fragrance. Natural sand vetiver blends with natural cedarwood, an upcycled ingredient derived from wood sawdust produced during furniture manufacturing.

The invigorating interplay between the salty and the woody poles exalts the fragrance, for a raw and powerful masculinity.

A sleek and refined fragrance bottle

The timeless and refined fragrance bottle captures the light and the power of salt. The creator of this bottle, Yokujin Yoshioka, an internationally renowned designer, has already collaborated directly with Mr. Miyake and explores the crystallisation process.

The light grey tone of the fragrance is perceived through the transparent bottle, made with 20% recycled glass*, and evokes the salt at the heart of the fragrance. At the base of the bottle, a half-sphere symbolises strength and masculinity.

In harmony with the fragrance, the carton is dressed in a natural grey shade evoking the purity of salt, while the matte surface echoes the texture of salt crystals. For the first time, the carton contains 10% upcycled algae, as well as materials from well-managed FSC™-certified forests and other controlled sources.

Le Sel d'Issey is available in two sizes of 50 ml and 100 ml as well as a 150 ml refill. Made in France.
