Terracotta Golden Dunes: a limited edition inspired by the Moroccan desert

The Terracotta Golden Dunes collection by Guerlain is a limited edition that reimagines the iconic bronzing powder launched in 1984. The refillable compact 03 Green Agafay, in the shade Moyen Doré, has been designed in collaboration with the Moroccan workshops Aït Manos, specialists in the art of zellige — a traditional ornamental mosaic made from coloured glazed ceramic tiles. Geometric patterns are paired with a marbled print evoking semi-precious stones.

The pressed powder features an arrangement of bronzing and highlighting shades designed to sculpt and even out the complexion. Four shades can be used separately or blended to modulate the intensity of the healthy-glow effect. This refillable compact format is part of an approach aimed at reducing packaging.

The perfect technique to naturally sun-kiss the entire face: a Guerlain secret, the "3 gesture". Pick up powder with the brush and apply it to the raised areas of the face by drawing a "3" on each side, from the forehead to the cheekbones, then from the cheekbones to the chin, and finally sweeping down along the neck.
