Brit Rhythm pour Femme follows on from its masculine counterpart launched a year earlier, in 2013. This fragrance is a kind of energising, sensual and bewitching cocktail. With it, the temperature rises a notch and the woman charges herself with a dose of adrenaline. As Christopher Bailey, Chief Creative Officer at Burberry, explains, Brit Rhythm pour Femme is a juice that is «irreverent and free-spirited. [It] combines powerful femininity with a rock and roll attitude.» In fact, this perfume came to life following Burberry's creation of Burberry Acoustic musical platforms designed to unearth young talent. Brit Rhythm pour Femme is a distillation of all the talented energy of the youth discovered at these unique shows. Its impertinence makes it no less bewitching. The Brit Rhythm woman thus appears as a seductive, rock and passionate being. Burberry likes to say that her essence embodies the freshness of a young English woman of today. She electrifies those around her with a simple glance or an enchanting smile. What is more, she complements these with a melody of her own composition, which only enhances her charisma.

The twisted scent of Brit Rhythm pour Femme

Brit Rhythm pour Femme is a juice created by a duo of perfumers, namely Antoine Maisondieu and Nathalie Gracia-Cetto. Both chose to offer us a fragrance built on contrasts. Brit Rhythm pour Femme combines classic notes with unexpected accords. It opens with a typically English lavender scent. This plant delivers its aromatic charm here. Its impertinence is further heightened by the strong presence of pink berries. Neroli, on the other hand, softens the whole and is accompanied by the sunny radiance of orange blossom. Then one of perfumery's most noble ingredients makes its appearance: iris absolute. It combines its powdery facet with a more vegetal and fruity accord of mulberry leaves. The whole then extends into a true surge of sensuality emanating from the woody scent of vetiver and the animality of musk. Finally, as for the bottle, Brit Rhythm pour Femme is both chic and modern. Its studded facets give it a rock and roll edge. Nevertheless, they are juxtaposed with smooth glass. In this sense, Brit Rhythm pour Femme reveals its contradictory character once again. It lets us glimpse the softness of its tender pink juice. Lastly, the brand's famous tartan motif is very much present. It is expressed in relief on the very walls of the bottle.

The brand-new fragrance from the Burberry house is aromatic and fresh, with English lavender playing a key role in the composition of this new edition. We also find orange and iris notes that add a touch of sensuality.

It is the first Burberry fragrance to have lavender as its central note, playing the leading role in the composition. English lavender is far more aromatic than French lavender, and its nuances in this composition are more significant. "The use of the ingredient typical of England was a deliberate choice by its creator" – as Nathalie Cetto highlighted. She also adds that the new Burberry fragrance has a fundamental paradox at its core – the confrontation of spicy ingredients such as pink pepper with the floral notes of Petalia present through to the heart note. This Parfum with peony scents evokes youth and lightness, giving the feeling of being in a cloud of peony petals!

Parfum Burberry Brit Rhythm for women

The top notes of the new fragrance are English lavender, pink pepper and neroli; the main heart notes are iris absolute, mulberry leaves and orange blossom combined with the molecule specially patented by the house of Givaudan called Petalia, carrying the fragrance on peony accords. The base incorporates vetiver, musk and dynamic wood. The fragrance was expected on the market from 28 January 2014 and will be available in all official Burberry stores.

Just like the men's version Burberry Brit for Men Rhythm, the women's fragrance is closely linked to music and acoustic performance – explains Christopher Bailey. Like a Burberry collection fragrance, the new feminine scent possesses the brand's authenticity and follows the style of the house. He adds: «Brit Rhythm pour Femme aims to capture the emotion, the excitement and the attitude that live music provides us with.»

Brit Rhythm by Burberry for women is the feminine equivalent of the Burberry Brit Rhythm fragrance for men. This perfume was inspired by rock music. It is described as «a rock 'n' roll bottle» with notes of «powdery softness».

The Olfactory Notes of the Parfum Brit Rhythm created For Her

The Parfum Brit Rhythm for women was developed by perfumers Nathalie Cetto and Antoine Maisondieu. The notes include mainly English lavender, pink pepper, neroli, iris, mulberry leaves, orange blossom, Petalia (peony petal), vetiver, musk and a woody note.

Ms Cetto: «We are very proud – it is the first feminine fragrance created around lavender. English lavender being much more aromatic than French lavender, it was important for us to have an English ingredient.»

The Parfum Burberry Brit Rhythm for women is available as an Eau de Toilette in 30, 50 and 90 ml.

The Story of the Parfum Burberry Brit Rhythm For women

Lavender has a history of being perceived as a «unisex» scent – it can be worn by both men and women. The creator of the Parfum Burberry Brit Rhythm, who primarily uses lavender in this fragrance, had no initial intention of creating an exclusively feminine perfume. It was therefore the creator's intention to produce one Burberry Brit Rhythm fragrance for women and one for men.

«Behind the creative process as described by Cetto (perfume creator), which is undoubtedly related to the originality of creating a fragrance that is as much feminine as masculine, is primarily focused on the use of a unisex ingredient – here for the Brit Rhythm fragrance by Burberry, that of "English lavender".»
