It was to perfumer Robert Gonnon that Courrèges turned to create this best-seller. However, its first version was revisited and modernised in 2012 by Vincent Schaller. Eau de Courrèges resembles a refreshing cocktail. It opens with very sparkling top notes of citrus fruits. One finds in it the light bitterness of bergamot associated with the acidity of lime and the dynamism of petitgrain. As if that were not enough, Eau de Courrèges also incorporates coriander. It then evolves towards a more herbaceous heart. The intensity of absinthe is paired with the sharpness of crushed mint. The woodland lily of the valley, however, softens the whole with its lightness. Finally, in its base, Eau de Courrèges reveals itself to be more intense and deep. Vetiver completes this freshness with distinguished tones. Oak moss, for its part, contributes to releasing the full power of this essence. Finally, it is worth noting that Eau de Courrèges comes in an emblematic bottle from the house. This is heavily inspired by the silhouette of Empreinte and forms a heavy glass cylinder topped by a metallised ball that reflects the light.
