Rose Extase, Nina Ricci's new dream of sensuality

Since 2015, the house of Nina Ricci has been flirting with eroticism through its carnal and feminine fragrance L'Extase. Embodied on screen by Laeticia Casta, it celebrates the pleasure of the senses in their most erotic form. Faced with the overwhelming enthusiasm of female audiences for this scent, Nina Ricci decided to deliver a second olfactory fantasy. The brand has just announced the launch of the brand-new fragrance Rose Extase, an Eau de Toilette with an unrivalled power of seduction.

The Two-Act Fragrance of Rose Extase

The fragrance L'Extase marked a true turning point within the Nina Ricci range. Indeed, it was the very first to be crafted by perfumer Francis Kukrdjian. A talented creator who has worked for the world's greatest houses, he trained at the prestigious ISIPCA perfumery school in Versailles. Immediately thrust into the spotlight by Jean-Paul Gaultier, his career is today studded with countless awards. He was also laureate of the Prix du Parfumeur François Coty for the totality of his creations in 2001, and was honoured with the Oscar Cosmétique Magazine for best perfumer of the year 2008. It is therefore all his mastery that we find once again in the fragrance Rose Extase. Yet this juice does not follow a conventional structure. It does not evolve from top notes to base notes as is customary. Rose Extase is a fragrance that unfolds in two major accords. The first is an «Accord Addiction de Rose». This combines the elegance of rose with the fruity and sweet facets of raspberry. The second is an «Accord de Muscs Veloutés». This brings together the sensuality of musk with the amber warmth of white wood. The result is a floral, tender and musky fragrance, like an invitation to carnal closeness.

When Nina Ricci Dresses in Pink

Once again, everything is delivered in a bottle inspired by a Nina Ricci minaudière. This is a feminine fashion accessory, a kind of jewellery object, designed to replace the evening bag while exuding even greater elegance. It thus perpetuates the chic and Parisian spirit of the Nina Ricci brand to perfection. While its glass dress previously appeared in a mysterious gradient evolving in deep mauve tones, it has been entirely reimagined. Now, Rose Extase displays an opaque lacquer, entirely in pink. The whole is perfectly smooth and echoes its cardboard case on which rose petals are layered in transparency. Only a few golden details such as its neck and the name plaque contrast with the rest of the design. Finally, a small black satin ribbon adds a more rock 'n' roll touch. Once again, Rose Extase will be embodied on screen by the alluring Laeticia Casta. It remains to be seen towards which erotic dream she will decide to take us next…
