Réminiscence is a brand that enjoys crafting fragrances described as solinotes. In other words, as their name suggests, these clearly highlight one single raw material. Of course, in reality they are accompanied by other ingredients. However, these serve only to enhance the main scent of the juice that contains them. As you will have gathered, this time it is all about the scent of Vanilla. It must be said that this choice is particularly judicious, considering that it is one of the most popular ingredients among the public. Furthermore, Réminiscence has always strived to convey a sense of exoticism in each of its creations. And what better scent to evoke distant islands than that of Vanilla? It is described as «fruity, floral, ambery and woody». At its launch in 2011, Réminiscence clearly stated that this was a vanilla that was «neither gourmand nor edible».

The airy Vanilla by Réminiscence

This creation is the work of perfumer Fabrice Pellegrin. He crafted a fairly classic vanilla, reworked in a light, airy and transparent manner. As such, the perfume Vanille is sure to delight lovers of soft and regressive fragrances. Everything here is played on subtlety and suggestion. Multiple facets are at play. Vanille reveals, on one hand, its more animal character. Indeed, Vanille contains ingredients such as musk and amber, which contribute to enhancing its full sensuality. Nevertheless, its lightness is brought by fruitier tones such as bergamot. Floral notes are also part of the composition, and the whole is even clearly dominated by the opulent presence of jasmine. Finally, the ensemble takes on a subtly earthy quality thanks to Ugandan vanilla. In short, Vanille is a particularly pleasant oriental fragrance, brimming with qualities to appeal to the widest possible audience. It is housed in the bottle typical of the house's solinotes, featuring a clean rectangular shape topped with a metallic grey cabochon that matches the lettering engraved on the glass itself. Finally, multiple stars adorn this vessel with a truly magical flair.
